Mt Lyell Office (Billiard Room) is located at the junction of Lyell Highway and Penghana Road, Queenstown. The brick structure and white weatherboard structure connect to make up this location.
Accessible parking is available at this venue. This parking area is identified by a line of large rocks. The terrain in this parking area is gravel with some valleys, bumps and puddles. The track to the venue entrance is down a gravel decline.
The Billiard Room is an internal space accessed through a doorway between the brick and weatherboard parts of the Mt Lyell Office building. There is an awning over this doorway. A cement path leads from the gravel outside this venue into the building.
Enter through the doorway under the awning. This doorway has a swing door that opens outwards.
Through the external doorway is a carpeted hallway. The internal entrance to the Billiard Room is slightly to the right and across the hallway. The Billiard Room has carpeted flooring.
While this venue is physically connected to Mt Lyell Office (Sticht), there is no internal pathway between the two venues. Visitors must exit one space fully and re-enter the other via external entryways.
There are not toilets available at this venue.
