Parking
Directly outside Moonscape Wine Bar and Cafe will be road closures for Crib Road.
There is on-street parking in the streets surrounding Orr Street.
Two parking spaces marked as accessible are available on nearby Bowes Street, at the end closest to Hunter Street. These parking spaces have standard kerbs and are limited to two-hour parking within the hours of 9am–5pm daily.
It is a 120-metre journey from these parking spaces to Moonscape Wine Bar and Cafe.
A paid West Coast Council carpark is available on Driffield Street at the bottom of Orr Street. Access to this carpark is gained by turning off Driffield Street into a side street opposite the Queenstown Library.
It is a 260-metre journey from this carpark to Moonscape Wine Bar and Cafe on Orr Street.
There are two accessible parking spaces in this carpark. They are positioned closest to the West Coast Wilderness Railway building.
There is a cost of $1 per hour to a maximum of $10 in this carpark. Payments can be made with cash or card using the parking meter available, or by using the EasyPark App and entering the parking area number '50001'.
Moonscape Wine Bar and Cafe is a food and beverage establishment, with an indoor cafe space and an exterior beer garden with picnic tables.
To access the indoor wine bar and cafe space, enter through the door at the left of the building. This door way is 710mm-wide, but can be widened when the double doors are open at full. This entrance leads from the paved street pathway directly onto tiled flooring inside the building.
To access the beer garden, enter through the gate to the left of the building entrance. This gate will be left open during business hours. The gate is 950mm-wide and leads down a pathway to the beer garden at the back of the building. The picture below shows the side pathway as having gravel terrain, throughout the festival this will be paved leading onto artificial grass.
There is also a back entrance that will be open. This can be reached from Little Orr Street, and can be an accessible drop-off point given the road closures on Orr Street.
The Moonscape Wine Bar and Cafe will be exhibiting some sculptural works in the beer garden. The beer garden is a long space with artificial grass flooring, wooden picnic tables, umbrellas and strings of light globes overhead. There is a clear pathway between the two rows of picnic tables and the opportunity for people who use wheelchairs to park at the end of some picnic tables.
