Starting her musical journey in thul garrie waja/gurrumbilbarra/North Queensland, Tasha Zappala has travelled across South America, Europe and the United States of America, and toured extensively across Australia. Since 2020, lutruwita/Tasmania has been her home.

Tasha's music is influenced by her interactions with people she's met along the journey who have become her friends, as well as immersing herself in her environment and creating songs from the space between the natural world and the stage. When Tasha performs, it is both ethereal and grounding and you can see the deep connection between an artist and her songs that has the power to transport the listener to a place where time stands still.

The Unconformity acknowledges the palawa people as the original and traditional custodians of lutruwita/Tasmania. We commit to working respectfully to honour their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this land.
