Chris is a local artist who has been painting West Coast inspired landscapes for over 40 years.

With a background in Geology, recent work by Chris is created using only natural earth materials from the Queenstown area. Weathered rock, clay and siltstones are the only art materials used to portray this geologically-unique part of the world. This is an exciting and satisfying marriage of geology and art.

The landscape is painted with small pieces of the landscape – a beautiful truth.
