The Confluence Hotel is located at 1-5 Orr Street, Queenstown.
Due to road closures, parking is not available on parts of Orr Street. There is on-street parking in the streets surrounding Orr Street.
Two accessible parking spaces are available on Driffield Street, directly outside the West Coast Wilderness Railway station. These parking spaces have standard kerbs and are not limited by time. It is a 130-metre journey from these parking spaces to The Confluence Hotel.
A paid West Coast Council carpark is also available on Driffield Street at the bottom of Orr Street. Access to this carpark is gained by turning off Driffield Street into a side street opposite the Queenstown Library. It is a 200-metre journey from this carpark to The Confluence Hotel.
There are two accessible parking spaces in this carpark. They are positioned closest to the West Coast Wilderness Railway building.
There is a cost of $1 per hour to a maximum of $10 in this carpark. Payments can be made with cash or card using the parking meter available, or by using the EasyPark App and entering the parking area number '50001'.
An accessible entrance into The Confluence hotel dining room is on the side of the building facing Driffield Street. This entrance has a cement ramp with steel railing that is accessed by Orr Street. At the top of this ramp is an external door that is 960mm-wide, leading onto a tiled surface.
Through the external entrance is an internal doorway that is 860mm-wide, leading into the carpeted dining area.
The second entrance into the building is through a single doorway on Orr Street. This doorway includes one step up onto a tiled landing to reach the door which is 960mm-wide and leads into the carpeted bar area.
Both dining and bar areas in this venue are carpeted. Artworks will be displayed in various locations throughout the venue as part of The Unconformity Art Trail.
