Jenny’s House is a restored home that sits high above Mellor Street and looks over the railway.
Access to this venue is available by parking on Mellor Street and journeying up the gravel driveway.
The driveway is inclined.
A second entrance is available for attendees who require accessible parking or drop-off at this venue. This entrance is located via a second driveway off Powell Street (see circled area in image below). It is a narrow driveway and there is very limited parking at the top.
At the top of the main driveway is a concrete staircase with two stretches of ten stairs each. These staircases have a handrail.
When you reach the verandah at the top of the stairs there are another two steps to get inside. Once through the 860mm-wide doorway, there are timber floorboards throughout.
Patrons using the accessible parking and drop-off area will arrive at and unsealed gravel terrain. The back entrance into the house is accessible through a concrete-floored carport up two single steps and through a doorway that is 720mm-wide.
Paintings, textiles and installations will be exhibited in the space over the festival.
Toilets are not available at this venue.
